Engr. Abdullah Amin is the founding partner of EcoChange serving as Business Development Executive of the Company. He is a qualified Mechanical Engineer holding BS degree in Mechanical Engineering and MS degree in Project Management with more than Five (5) years of diversified practical experience in the field of environment, energy efficiency and renewable energy technologies including solar, wind coal, bio fuels and biomass energy.
In Renewable Energy Sector, He remain involved at various stages in development of pioneer Wind and Solar Power Project in Pakistan and fully understand the regulatory framework and dynamics of Project Development Phases of renewable energy based IPP projects. During his career he got practical experience in Project Management, technical documentation, configuration management and preparation of technical and commercial proposals, feasibilities, contract writing and management.
He has the knowledge of national and International environmental laws, International Environmental treaties and Protocols and to those Pakistan are signatory with and all mandatory regulations and compliances required for the Power Projects. The Environmental studies conducted by me are made in compliance to the national IEE/EIA guidelines 2000, Performance standards of IFC and World Bank and ADB policies and guidelines. The IEE/EIAs not only got approval from national EPAs but also got approval from international lenders including OPIC, ADB and IFC.
As a Director of the Company, He is leading the overall business development and management of the Company.
Ms. Samia Umair serves as a Director / Chief Financial Officer of the Company. Ms. Umair provides both operational and programmatic support to the Company. She has more than 7 years of experience of working in diverse financial & administrative positions. She supervises the Finance unit and is the chief financial spokesperson for the Company. She has keen understanding of business priorities committed to managing highly effective teams in delivering seamless service while contributing to business development and revenue generation. She looks after the overall wellbeing of the organization by providing financial projections and accounting services, asset management, cash flow management, budget management, cost benefit analysis, forecasting needs and the securing of new funding. She holds degree in Masters of Business Administration and Certification of Chartered Accountants Foundation.
